Measuring Instructions

Outside Mount Instructions

If measurements are outside or over the window:
Allow 1″ – 1 1/2″ (2.5 – 4 cm) past the window at each side for light control.
Measure top, bottom, left side and right side.
We will not make any deductions.

Please indicate the Finished Size when ordering.

Inside Mount Instructions

If measurements are inside window recess (tight from side to side), measure top, bottom left side and right side.
We will deduct 1/8″ from the width for installation clearance (tight inside mount only).
Please indicate Inside Measurements when ordering.

If shade is inside recess, but not tight to sides, indicate Finished Size, no deduction will be made.

Measuring Tips:

  • Use a steel measuring tape
  • Round down to the nearest 1/8″ for width
  • Round up to the nearest 1/8″ for height
